A micro-wedding at York Register Office
Updated: Mar 16, 2021
I'm delighted to share Charlotte and Ashley's supremely lovely, teeny tiny wedding from last September. These guys had never wanted a big fancy do, so the covid restrictions in place last year gave them the perfect excuse to have the small and intimate wedding they'd been hoping for. This sneaky pair kept the whole thing secret, and had just a handful of their very nearest and dearest join them on the day.
It was an absolutely glorious sun soaked day in York, and the late-summer light streamed through the lovely windows of the registry office as Charlotte and Ashley said their vows to each other. We followed their ceremony with a relaxed stroll around the city centre, grabbing some lovely photos around York Minster and the cobblestone streets nearby.
I absolutely adored Charlotte's Needle and Thread dress. It was the perfect choice for a relaxed city centre wedding and looked so beautiful in the sunshine!
This was such a special day to be a part of and I'm so grateful to Charlotte and Ashley for asking me to capture it for them!
I hope you enjoyed scrolling through this gorgeous York Register Office wedding. It was such a joy to photograph! If you're planning a York City Centre wedding in 2021 or 2022, head on over to my contact page to get in touch!
