Ellie & Pedro's Sheffield City Centre Wedding

Updated: Aug 16, 2020

Ellie and Pedro had just two weeks (!) to organise their Sheffield city centre wedding after deciding last minute to go ahead with their wedding ceremony. With the UK on lockdown and family members located all over the world and unable to travel, their original wedding plans had to be put on hold indefinitely. However, just two weeks before their original wedding date this lovely pair decided that they just couldn't wait any longer to marry each other, so marry each other they did!

Joined by two close friends as witnesses, they said their wedding vows in Sheffield Town Hall before joining me for a lovely stroll around the city they call home. It was soooooooo much fun making use of all the fabulous urban architecture that Sheffield city centre has to offer. We then took a little drive to Sheffield Botanical Gardens for some photos amongst the flowers and against the swoon-worthy backdrop of the Pavilion greenhouse.

Ellie's gorgeous Asos wedding dress was so elegant in it's simplicity and was absolutely perfect for a city centre wedding! Her beautiful boho bouquet was made by a family friend and added a lovely burst of summery colours to her outfit.

I had so much fun taking these photos for Ellie and Pedro and it was so special being asked to join them for such a small and intimate wedding. It may not have been the day they'd initially planned, but it was absolutely perfect in it's own way. Wishing these guys sooo much happiness together and fingers crossed I can be there to capture their big party when it happens!

I hope you enjoy the pics from this wonderful Sheffield City Centre and Botanical Gardens wedding and if you're looking for a photographer to capture a small 2020 wedding like this one, pop me a message on my contact page for more info x
