Charlotte & Ryan Wedding Highlights
Updated: Jan 1, 2020
Saturday's wedding flew by in a flurry of epic wind and rain. It was an amazing day with the most kind and beautiful couple, who took the crazy weather in their stride and spent the day with beaming smiles on their faces.
The day started with bridal prep at Charlotte's mum & dad's house in Scarborough (which I have to add was decorated to PERFECTION), followed by a lovely church service at St. Laurence's in Scalby. From there we headed down the coast a mile or two to the reception. It was my first ever time shooting at Wildwood & Eden and I hope it won't be my last. What a venue! The whole place was full of lovely details that made the day even more special, from a vintage postcard guest book (SUCH a good idea!) to the most gorgeous floral display I've ever seen. Charlotte is an incredibly talented artist and her skills really shone through in the gorgeous details that adorned the day.
When it came to the portraits there were so many lovely spots for photo opportunities that I was completely spoilt for choice! We headed into the fields for some dramatic windswept shots, and made use of the beautiful blue barn, pizza van and retro caravan for some more cool and colourful photos. Without any further ado, I hope you enjoy this little snippet of the day! A list of the wonderful suppliers can be found at the bottom of the blog.
